A family business in Gloucester. We drive people to airports, ports and everywhere in between, and we answer our own phone.
Our family
AS Travel is a family-owned private hire business based in Gloucester. Most of our work is airport and seaport transfers — getting families and groups to Bristol, Birmingham, Heathrow, Gatwick and the rest, and bringing them home again.
We run an executive saloon, a 6-seater and two 8-seat vehicles, so a whole group and its luggage can travel together. We also take groups to day trips, sporting events and nights out, and look after corporate travel for local businesses.
When you ring, you speak to Amarn or one of the family. When you book, you'll know who's driving.
Licensed by Tewkesbury Borough Council
We hold a private hire operator licence from Tewkesbury Borough Council. That licence means the council checks how we take bookings, keep records and handle complaints. You can check any licence with the council's licensing team.
Our drivers
Every driver holds a private hire driver's licence. To get one, they pass an enhanced DBS criminal record check, a medical, and the council's own checks, and these are renewed regularly.
Drivers carry their council ID badge. Ask to see it.
Our vehicles
Each vehicle is licensed by the council, which means it's inspected and must pass a test before it can carry passengers. Between tests our vehicles are kept clean and well maintained.
Our fleet is a silver Mercedes Vito and a black Hyundai i800 (both up to 8 passengers), a blue Ford Galaxy (up to 6) and a black Mercedes E-Class for executive travel.
