Who we are

AS Travel, of Gloucester, is the data controller for information collected through this website and our bookings. You can contact us about your data at hello@asprivatehire.co.uk.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote or book, we collect your name, phone number, email, pickup and drop-off addresses, travel dates, flight or sailing numbers, the number of passengers, and anything you tell us in the notes — for example a need for child seats or help with mobility.

Why we use it

To quote for and carry out your journey (contract).
To keep booking records, which our operator licence requires (legal obligation).
To send occasional emails about prices and offers, only if you ticked the box (consent). You can stop these at any time.

Who we share it with

Your driver, so they can do the journey. Our website host processes the quote form, which is sent to us by email. If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) handles that message. We never sell your details.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as our private hire licence conditions require, and no longer than we need them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Contact us on 01452 924225 or hello@asprivatehire.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and browser storage to make the site work and to remember your cookie choice. With your permission, we use analytics and advertising cookies from Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) to count visits, see which pages are useful and measure our adverts and see which pages are useful. These are only set if you choose "Accept analytics".

If address suggestions are switched on in the quote form, Google Maps may set its own cookies when you click into the address box.
