Ports and cruise terminals
Cruise and seaport transfers from Gloucestershire
To the terminal door at Southampton, Dover, Portsmouth or Tilbury, with all your cases in the vehicle and time to spare before boarding. One fixed price for the vehicle.
A cruise starts with a long drive
From Gloucestershire, every cruise port is two hours away or more. Southampton is the nearest big one. Dover is the other end of the country. That's a long time to drive with a car full of cases, and a long time to worry about the A34.
We take the worry out of it. Here's how.
We time it to your boarding window
Cruise lines give each passenger an arrival time at the terminal. We plan the pickup from that time, not from a guess. We'd rather you sat in the terminal with a coffee for half an hour than sat in traffic watching the clock.
Cruise luggage fits
People pack more for a fortnight at sea than a week in Spain. Formal clothes, extra shoes, the lot. Our 6-seat and 8-seat vehicles have the space. Couples and small groups often travel in an 8-seater so every case goes in with room left over.
Straight to the terminal
We drop you at your terminal's drop-off point, not in a car park. At the Southampton terminals, porters take your cases at the kerb and the next time you see them is outside your cabin.
Home again
On the way back we meet you at the terminal pickup point. Disembarkation times move, so we keep in touch on the day and wait while you get through.
Ports we go to
Southampton is where most people sail from. We cover these as well.
Southampton
The UK's main cruise port. Five terminals: Ocean, Mayflower, City, QEII and Horizon. Tell us which one is on your ticket and we'll take you to the right door. We go down the A34, so we know where the hold-ups are.
Dover
A long run east, so we plan it with plenty of time. Good for cruises heading to the Baltic and northern Europe.
Portsmouth International Port
For cruises and for ferries to France and Spain.
London International Cruise Terminal, Tilbury
On the Thames in Essex. We go round the M25 and allow for the Dartford Crossing.
Bristol Port (Avonmouth and Portbury)
Some smaller ships call here. It's the closest port to Gloucestershire by a long way.
Fishguard Harbour
For the ferry to Rosslare. A long but simple run along the M4 and A40.
Seaport fares
Per vehicle, one way, from Gloucester and anywhere within 10 miles of Gloucester (GL1), including Cheltenham, Stroud and Tewkesbury, from one pickup address, luggage included.

Cruise questions
What time will you pick us up?
Your cruise line gives you an arrival or check-in time at the terminal. We work back from that, allow for the motorways, and add a margin. If we think the time you've suggested is too tight, we'll say so.
We've got a lot of luggage. Will it fit?
Tell us how many cases, and roughly how big. For two to four passengers with cruise luggage we often send an 8-seat vehicle anyway, so the cases travel inside with you, not crammed in the boot.
How does the return work?
Ships dock early in the morning and passengers leave in groups through the morning. Tell us your disembarkation time when you know it. We'll be at the terminal pickup point and we'll keep our phone on. If customs or luggage holds you up, we wait.
Can you help with getting in and out of the vehicle?
Yes. Your driver loads and unloads all the cases and will help you in and out. If you use a folding wheelchair or walker, tell us when you book.
